South Shore SNAP’s 5th Annual Pizza Palooza featured 11 different vendors for Hingham residents to try.

People packed into Hingham High School to get a taste Wednesday night.

The event was sponsored by the Hingham Business Council with all proceeds going to support South Shore SNAP, a non-profit organization providing athletic and recreational activities for children and young adults with special cognitive and physical disabilities.

The Big Y won the Judge’s vote, South Shore Sports Center won for kid’s choice and Boathouse Bistro got the vote for People’s Choice.

Melissa Smith of Plymouth River School, Beth Wilcox of Foster School, Tony Keady of East School, Bill Ramsey of Hingham, Police Chief Glenn Olsson, Mary Eastwood of South School, and James LaBillois, assistant school superintendent, were the celebrity judges who sampled 11 slices of pizza to determine which was the best.
